An Exclusive private tour from the port of Civitavecchia with Driver & Licensed Tour Guide. Your private guide will hop-off the vehicle with you at each stop and walk you through the attractions to provide the most complete insights of every attraction. It includes the private walking tour inside the Colosseum (1hr) and the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter Basilica (2/3hrs). The tour starts at 7:30AM from the exit of your ship in Civitavecchia where one of our English-speaking driver will be waiting, bearing a sign with your name. A relaxing transfer of about an hour from the port of Civitavecchia to Rome in our luxury Mercedes van.
Once in Rome you will meet your local private guide who will take you to discover the “Eternal City” through its historical, artistic and cultural wonders that only Rome can offer. In the six hours of private tour you can not miss a visit to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Venice square, Circus Maximus, Aventine Hill, Capitol Hill, Colosseum, the Vatican Museums and the famous Sistine Chapel. If it’s not your first time in Rome, you can choose to customize your tour.
At 4PM approx you will leave Rome to return to the port of Civitavecchia where you are expected to arrive at 5:30PM approx.
We purchase the skip-the-line tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.
Colosseum and Vatican Museums tickets to be paid (only cash) at the end of the tour directly to your guide.
The final voucher/price will NOT include the cost for the tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums.
Vatican Museums are closed on Sunday, Easter, 19Mar, 01May, 29Jun, 14Aug, 15Aug, 01Nov, 8Dec, 25Dec, 26Dec. You will change the Vatican tour with the private walking tour of the Roman Forum, Caesar Palace & the Capitol Hill.
Colosseum is closed on 01May, 25Dec. Please note that for safety reasons the Coliseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once. This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.
For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*
